Richard Sadler
Managing Director
Richard is the Managing Director and founder of Accounting and Beyond. A Chartered Accountant with over 30 years’ experience.
He specialises in Virtual Finance Director services, business advisory, growth planning and technology.
Known for his calm approach and clear guidance, Richard helps business owners feel in control, reduce stress, and grow with confidence.

Richard Sadler
Managing Director
Richard began his career at 18 with a top 20 firm, completing the equivalent of an accounting apprenticeship and achieving second place in the national AAT examinations. He went on to qualify as a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) and worked his way up to become a partner, taking on responsibility as IT Partner and driving innovation across the firm. In 2010 he set up on his own, and by 2013 Accounting and Beyond was formed.
Today, Richard is accredited in Xero, Zoho and QuickBooks, with specialist expertise in AI and technology. He is known for being reliable and steady in a crisis, supporting business owners not only with numbers but also with the mental health challenges of running a business. His focus is always on helping clients plan ahead, increase profit and achieve clarity, control and confidence.
Outside of work, Richard is a keen football fan and angler. He enjoys weekends away at the caravan with his wife, often found lakeside with their two dogs, including a new puppy in 2025, keeping them busy.

Louise Sadler
Director
Louise is a co-founder of Accounting and Beyond and a finance operations specialist with more than 20 years of experience.
She works closely with clients to improve systems, streamline finance functions and provide practical, hands-on support that makes day-to-day operations run smoothly.
Louise is known for her approachable style and for helping businesses feel calm, organised and in control.

Louise Sadler
Director
Her career began in finance team management, where she developed expertise in running day-to-day operations and supporting business leaders with clear, reliable financial information. Since then, she has worked with a wide range of industries and has developed a strong focus on building integrated finance office solutions.
At Accounting and Beyond, Louise brings a calm and supportive approach to client relationships. She understands the pressures that business owners face and takes pride in making finance less stressful and more structured. Her work includes everything from process improvement and payroll management to implementing cloud finance systems and providing ongoing operational support.
Louise believes that finance should empower business owners rather than overwhelm them. Her goal is always to help clients achieve clarity, efficiency and confidence in their numbers so they can focus on running and growing their business.
Outside of work, Louise enjoys time with family, relaxing at the caravan and walking her two dogs. She has a creative side and an eye for detail which she brings into both her work and her home life.

Emma Manwaring
Bookkeeping and Payroll Senior
Emma looks after bookkeeping, payroll and CIS for our clients, working with all software including Xero and Zoho.
With a background spanning accountancy, property management, web design and printing, she brings a wealth of industry knowledge and a calm, methodical approach to keeping client finances in order.

Emma Manwaring
Bookkeeping and Payroll Senior
Her first accountancy role was as Office Manager at an ACCA firm in Greenwich, London, where she spent 13 years. After moving to Cambridgeshire, she broadened her skills as an Office Manager in property management, web design and printing. This experience gave her valuable insight into how different industries operate and strengthened her understanding of the challenges small businesses face.
In 2020, Emma retrained as a bookkeeper and achieved her AATQB status in March 2021. Always eager to learn, she plans to expand her expertise into management accounts and self-assessment tax returns.
Outside of finance, Emma has a creative background. She trained as an actor from a young age and went on to complete an English with Drama BA (Hons) degree at the University of Greenwich while working full time. She has performed professionally, written and staged her own plays at Fringe Festivals, and self-published two novels.
When not working, Emma enjoys family life in Cambridgeshire and can often be found running around with her husband and nine-year-old son.
